Those who attended this unique family event last year will tell you that ‘WINTERFEST ’08 is not to be missed.’ WinterFest ’08 is the largest family centered holiday event on the Island. Vancouver Island residents can shop for locally made items, visit exhibits, and celebrate community while their kids have a screaming good time. Our multicultural community stage features dance, music, puppet shows, children’s entertainers and more throughout the weekend. Our Giving Carnival is a place where children will play, learn and win prizes while supporting great family-based charities including: the BC Children’s hospital, Mustard Seed, Wild Ark, Santa’s Anonymous and many more. We have over 50 exhibitors offering either a hands-on activity for kids, a ‘make and take’ craft or a gift to buy for under $ 2. This is a child-safe environment, where all exhibitors are family friendly and welcome ‘little hands’.
